About Attorney Michael L. Ozalas
Michael L. Ozalas performed his undergraduate work at Lafayette College
and was admitted to Villanova Law School in 1971. He earned his J.D. in 1974 and was
admitted to the Pensylvania and United States District Court, Middle District Pennsylvania
that same year.
He is a member of both the Carbon County Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar
Association. He served as Solicitor for the Carbon County Sheriff from 1981-1995,
Solicitor for Carbon County from 1996-1999 and 2004-present, and Solicitor for the Carbon
County Recorder of Deeds from 2000-2003. He is currently Solicitor for the Borough of
